The Beauty and Wisdom of the Prophet ﷺ
This course is only open to Critical Loyalty Alumni or current students.
Schedule: Sundays, 8–9 AM (October 5, 2025 – September 27, 2026)
This one-year course explores the character, description, and enduring wisdom of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through three complementary lenses. We will read Shamāʾil al-Tirmidhī alongside Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim’s Kitāb al-Faḍāʾil to uncover both his outer description and inner virtues, while drawing on Shah Wali Allah’s Ḥujjat Allāh al-Bāligha to reflect on the deeper wisdom behind his lifestyle, worship, and character. To anchor our study in critical scholarship, we will also engage with hadith methodology through al-Tirmidhī’s ʿIlal and Muslim’s Muqaddimah.
By bringing together Shamāʾil, Faḍāʾil, Usūl al-Ḥadīth, and Shah Wali Allah’s insights, this course offers a unique, holistic study of the Prophet ﷺ, not only how he looked and lived, but why his example continues to shape faith, ethics, and spirituality today.
Graduates will receive Ijāzah in the 5 texts we will study.
