Nature and Therapy: 5 motions 6 climates, seasonal and daily relationships with treatment, cosmological phases.

Ruh (soul) and essence of the human body

Directional patterns, vessel patterns, division patterns, sinews patterns, skin divisions

5 storages 6 transporters

circulations within the body of evil (Shaytan) and good

Cause of Illness, definition of evil, climate, emotions, lifestyle, obstruction.

Diagnosis: pulse taking, channel observation & palpation, 25 types of people

Treatment/needling principles
Students will achieve the following competencies:
- Covering the base the concepts of classical Medicine during prehistoric times by analyzing the classical text Huang Di Nei Jing
- Understanding the connection of Classical Medicine and Islamic Scripture
- Recognizing clinical situations where reference to the Classics would be advantageous
- Characterize patient/client presentation in reference to the concepts in classics and the Islamic Scripture

Describing similarities and differences in classical medicine vs Islamic Scripture
Grading and assessment will be based on practical application of principals (homework) and class participation. Students will also be required to have at least 6 case studies to graduate.
Graduating students will be awarded Critical Loyalty Diploma of Classical Medicine and Holistic Health (Hakīm degree). Students will graduate as Critical Loyalty Certified Holistic Health Coaches. (Critical Loyalty is the only institute to have such a designation in the Islamic World).
