Ijāzah in Shāṭibiyyah – al-Ḥirz al-Amānī by Imām al-Shāṭibī
Recitation of the Qur’ān – Asharah Ṣughrā
This is a one-year course focused on granting Ijāzah in the renowned text al-Ḥirz al-Amānī (Shāṭibiyyah) and the recitation of the Qur’ān in the ten minor Qirā’āt (‘Asharah Ṣughrā).
Recitation is cumulative from the previous year. Students will continue from where they left off in the Tajwīd Ijāzah year.
Upon graduation and completion of the course, students will receive Ijāzah in both the Shāṭibiyyah text and the reading of the Qur’ān in ‘Asharah Ṣughrā.
Recitation will be done in Ifrād (individual readings), and during the final two months of the course, students will learn Jam‘ reading.
