Ijāzah in Ṭayyibat al-Nashr – by Imām Ibn al-Jazarī
Advanced Recitation of the Qur’ān – ‘Asharah Kubrā
This is a one-year course focused on granting Ijāzah in the advanced-level text Ṭayyibat al-Nashr by Imām Ibn al-Jazarī, covering the ten major Qirā’āt (‘Asharah Kubrā).
Recitation is cumulative from the Shāṭibiyyah year. Students will continue from where they left off in their study of ‘Asharah Ṣughrā, building on their recitation and theory to master ‘Asharah Kubrā.
Upon graduation and completion of the course, students will receive Ijāzah in both the Ṭayyibat al-Nashr text and the reading of the Qur’ān in ‘Asharah Kubrā.
Recitation will be done in Ifrād (individual readings), and during the final four months of the course, students will learn Jam‘ bi’al-‘atf reading.
