Introduction to Value Investing Philosophy as initiated by Warren Buffet.
We will be covering the various aspects of selection for your company – Ethics, Growth Potential, Intelligent Leadership and Value (Margin of Safety).
We will teach how to read financial statements and annual report to thoroughly analyze a company before investing. An important aspect of investing is in determining the market trends and how to determine where the market is headed – technical analysis will help us get there (remember, in the long run, market always trends upwards).
Advanced investing strategies including options and the various strategies (smart and otherwise) – Puts, Calls, Strangle, Straddle, and many others- will also be covered in great detail.
Finally, money and portfolio management will be discussed. The goal of the course is to create holistic investors who can create generational wealth through smart decisions and research.
Students will have access to all financials/numbers of the companies they are researching.
Fee 200 CAD per month for 4 months.
IMPORTANT: This course has weekly in-class and after class homework
Secondly This isn’t a course on jurisprudence thus if you are attending to debate on concepts as well you will lose your fee and not allowed to sit.
Class Timings: Sundays from 2:30pm -4:30pm (Edmonton, Alberta -Mountain Standard Time). (When figuring out the time please make sure to include Edmonton, Alberta because other locations in mountain time don’t follow daylight savings)
