In this Course Students will go through the beginning chapters of Shāh WaliAllāh’s Hujjat Allah al-Bālighah. The focus is on Islamic Metaphysics from Shāh WaliAllāh’s lens.
Students will cover the following topics:
- January: The Qualities of Allah – Ibdā’, Khalq, and Tadbīr
- February: ‘Ālam al-Mithāl
- March: Al-Mala’ al-A’lā
- April: Sunnah of Allah
- May: Rūḥ
- June: Human Responsibility and Taklīf in general
- July: Taklīf from Sharī’ah
- August: Responsibility (Taklif) and Compensation
- September: Fitrah and Actions
- October: Motivations for Actions
- November: Requital of action in this world
- December: Requital of action in the hereafter: Death (Mawt), Barzakh, Qiyāmah
There are NO Prerequisites for this course.
There are NO EXAMS for this course. All year-long courses get added to your ‘Alimiyyah Degree 8-year requirement.
