This is a year-long program where the students will understand the difference between the study of religion and the critical study of religion.
Students will cover the following topics:
- Metaphysics in Islam
- ‘Ālam al-Mithāl
- Angels
- Allah’s Natural Way (Sunnat Allah)
- Human Responsibility (Taklīf)
- Fitrah
- Recompense (Jazā)
- Death (Mawt)
- Day of Judgement (Qiyāmah)
- Introduction to Islamic Social Living
This course is a prerequisite to graduating with an Ālimiyyah degree from Critical Loyalty.
This course will be taught as a graduate seminar and, therefore, will be required to participate in the conversation.
There are NO EXAMS for this course. It is a PASS/FAIL course.
Graduating students will be awarded the Critical Loyalty Ālimiyyah Degree. Students will graduate as Critical Loyalty Certified Islamic Scholars.
Critical Loyalty is the only institute with these requirements to have an ālimmiyyah degree.
